Do you want to delete the module that is tracking you? or installing a aftermarket radio and your front door speakers dont work? Do you not care about having SOS calling, or remote door unlock or any connectivity to Subarus network? Delete your DCM module, by plugging this in. This will make it so that all your speakers will continue to work. And so will your overhead Mic.
Following list is compiled from confirmed vehicles:
- Subaru BRZ/GR86 GEN2 (22 +), (Excludes BRZ base models do not have a DCM, Base GR86 still have a DCM)
- Subaru WRX VA (15+) (If equipped)
- Subaru WRX VB (22+) (If equipped)
- Subaru Forester (If equipped)
- Subaru Outback (If equipped)
What removing DCM bypass will remove:
- All Subaru app features
- No more SOS
- No more OTA updates
- No more tracking of vehicle data
What will still work:
- Speakers all work
- Overhead microphone for bluetooth still works.
- Key fob, passive keyless entry, everything car related will work
- Andorid auto / Apple CarPlay
